SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T:During the past (24)hours rain or thundershowers have beenscattered in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, isolated in Yangon Region and Eastern Shan, KayinStatesand weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.Night temperatures were(2°C) below November average temperature in Kachin State, (2°C)above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and(3°C)above November average temperature in Eastern ShanStateand about November average temperaturein the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were(8°C)in Hakha and (9°C) each in Putao and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were(0.67)inchinKyeikmayaw, (0.63)inch in Yangon(NorthernDagon), (0.59)inchin Kawthaung, (0.51)inch in Myeik and(0.43)inch inYangon(Kaba-Aye).
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over North Tamilnadu Coast and adjoining South Andhra Paradesh Coast near Puducherry (India) has crossed and made landfall. It is forecast to continue to move West- Northwestwards and weaken gradually. Weather isa few cloudover the NorthBay and Eastcentral Bayand partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th November, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Yangon Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA:Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar water. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
