Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal now lies over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is forecast continuous to move Westwards and reach to Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh- North Tamilnadu coasts , India ) around (18.11.2021).
General caution
Due to the low pressure area, rain or thundershowers will be isolated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, TaninthayiRegions and Shan,Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States during commencing today afternoon to next (48)hrs.Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts.
