BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely continuous to move Westwards and reach to Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal(off South Andhra Pradesh- North Tamilnadu coasts) around (18.11.2021). Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th November, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
