BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over Central part of Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely continuous to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around (17.11.2021).Weather is a few cloud over the Northeast and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 15th November, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region, Chin state , scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayah ,Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States .Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic,Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespreadrain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay,Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
