BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Central part of Andaman Sea still persists. It is likely continuous to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over Westcentral and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal around (17.11.2021).Weather ispartly cloudy to cloudyover the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November, 2021:Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Shan State, fairly widespread inNaypyitaw, Mandalay Region, scattered in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States andisolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region.Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7– 9) feet in Deltaic,Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
