SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Mandalay, Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.97) inches in Gwa, (1.81) inches in Naypyitaw (Zayarthiri), (1.77) inches in Kawthaung, (1.73) inches in Myittha, (1.62) inches in Taungdwingyi, (1.57) inches in Kyaukse, (1.54) inches in Aunglan, (1.49) inches in Taunggyi, (1.26) inches in Pinlaung and (1.18) inches in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4– 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
