BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (6 -9)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
