BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 9th October, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Chin, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 – 9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
