SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Kachin, Eastern Shan and ChinStates, fairly widespread in Sagaing, Mandalay, AyeyarwadyRegions and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay and Magway Regions and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State.The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.82) inches in Meiktila, (3.19) inches in Taungdwingyi, (3.07) inches in Gwa, (2.08) inches in Kyeikdon, (2.01) inches in Kani, (1.70) inches in Thandwe, (1.65) inches each in Myingyan and Hpa-an(Agro-Met), (1.63) inches in Thazi, (1.61) inches in Sinbyugyun and (1.57) inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi).

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the deep depression  over North Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengalhas moved westwards and now lies over Northwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about (230) Nautical miles Southwest of Sittwe, (305) Nautical miles West-Northwest of Gwa, (320) Nautical miles Northwest of Hainggyigyun(Myanmar), (190) Nautical miles Southeast of Paradip and (260) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Gopalpur(India).Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th September, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Chin Statesand widespread in the remaining Regions and Stateswith likelihood of regionally heavyfalls inTaninthayi Regions andKayin, Mon Statesand isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions.Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -12)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
