29-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 670 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 200 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 185 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Flood condition of Ayeyarwady River

   According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Seiktha at Ayeyarwady River has exceeded by about (½) foot above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next (2) days.

  According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Hinthada at Ayeyarwady River has exceeded by about (½) foot above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next (3) days.

  According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Zalun at Ayeyarwady River has exceeded by about (8) inches above its danger level. It may fall below its danger level during the next (3) days.

Flood condition of Ngawun River

  According to the (07:30)hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of Ngathaingchaung at Ngawun River has exceeded by about (1) inch above its danger level. It may remain above its danger level during the next (1) day.

Advisory

  It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas in Seiktha, Hinthada Township, Zalun Township and Ngathaingchaung, to take precaution measure.
