26-11-2024: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 770 Nautical miles Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 405 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal.

           According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of  Shwegyin River at Shwegyin is observed as about (1) foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (1) day.

           According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of  Sittoung River at Madauk is observed as about (½) foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (1) day.

           According to the (11:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water level of  Bilin River at Bilin is observed as about (1) foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (2) days.

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river banks and low lying areas at Shwegyin Township,Madauk and Bilin Township to take precaution measure.
