26-11-2024:According to the observations at (05:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards. It is centered at about 790 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 480 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy  over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Third (10) days of November 2020

          The water levels of Ayeyarwady River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (2-4) feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing and Myinmu, and about (5-6½) feet at Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun.

          The water levels of Chindwin River are forecast to fall below the present water levels by about (2-3½) feet at Hkamti, Homalin and Phaungpyin, and about (4-5) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa.
