Bay of Bengal Condition
Southwest monsoon is likely to set in Deltaic Myanmar Areas during (22-27) of May and Central Myanmar Areas during (28 May- 2 June). During this period, monsoon will be moderate. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain Conditions and Rainy Days
Rain or thundershowers will be likely above normal in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin state, below normal in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady regions, Rakhine States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon states.
Rainy days are expected about (6) to (8) days in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon states, about (3) to (5) days in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan, Chin and Kayah states.

Day Temperature will be (1.5 °C) above normal in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin state.
