SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway and Mandalay Regions, scattered in Chin and Rakhine States, fairly widespread in Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mon State and isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin State. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Zaung Tu (4.96)inches, Putao (3.90)inches, Belin and Theinzayet (3.86)inches each, Homalin (3.31)inches, Ngathaichaung (2.68)inches, Moekok (2.64)inches, Hinthada (2.52)inches, Bago and Paung (2.44)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, the low pressure area over West Central Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved to inland through north coastal Andhra Pradesh (India).Monsoon is moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th August, 2015: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Madalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
