SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region, weather has been generally fair in Napyitaw, Magway and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Kayah and Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (3°C) to (4°C) above January average temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin and Mon States and about January average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Putao, Tiddim and Ramthlo and (5°C) in Pinlaung. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Myeik (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th January, 2019: Rain will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-5) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
