30-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm “FENGAL” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 695 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 115 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 110 Nautical miles East of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Above normal rain are likely in  Shan,Chin,  Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in  Shan,Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and (4) to (6) days in the remaining Regions and States.
