29-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 670 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 200 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 185 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A Moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Andaman Islands, India Region), latitude 12.89°N, longitude 93.35°E, depth (77)kilometers about (328)miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (23)hr (16)min (09)sec M.S.T on 27th December, 2018.
