BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northeast Srilanka still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Southwest Bay and West Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs MST today, Yesterday's the Low Pressure Area over the Gulf of Thailand has moved westwards and now lies over the Malay Peninsula still persists. It is forecast to move Westwards and likely to reach South Andaman Sea during next (12)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 21st November, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough sea are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and aloung Mon-Tanintayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)mph. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (2-5) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
