SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Bago and Yangon Regions, Mon State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Mogoke (3.34)inches, Htilin (3.31)inches, Monywa (Kyemone) (3.23)inches, Katha (2.40)inches, Monywa (2.36)inches, Mingin (2.24)inches, Kyaukpadaung (2.16)inches, Yeu, Yamethin and Thayat (1.97)inches each, Aunglan (1.93)inches, Matupi and Myeik (1.86)inches each, Bhamo (1.77)inches, Myitkyina (1.73)inches, Pauk (1.65)inches, Monyin and Naypyitaw (Otarathiri) (1.61) inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Bago and Yangon Regions, Southern Shan, Kayah and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan, and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
