28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (18) miles south of Sidoktaya), latitude 20.22°N, longitude 94.29°E, depth (15) kilometers about (78) miles southwest of Nyaung-Oo seismological observatory was recorded at (02)hr (26)min (34)sec M.S.T. on 20^th May, 2018.
