28-11-2024: According to the observations at (15:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 715 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

EARTHQUAKE NEWS

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (10) miles southeast of Htamanthi), latitude 25.27°N, longitude 95.44°E, depth (146)kilometers about (94) miles northwest of Katha seismological observatory was recorded at (14)hr (58)min (00)sec  M.S.T on 20th April, 2018.
