SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Kayah State, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Northern Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below April average temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, (2°C) below April average temperatures in Mandalay Region and Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) each in Chauk and Bawlakhae, (39°C) each in Taunggu, Nyaunglaybin and Mawlamyine. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Htilin (1.21)inches, Bawlakhae (0.32)inch, Pakokku (0.27)inch, Homalin (0.24)inch and Kawthaung (0.12)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th APRIL, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, (Northern and Eastern) Shan State. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
