SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Eastern Shan and Kayin States, weather has been partly cloudy in Mon State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) above February average temperature in Mon State, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Kayin States, (2°C) below February average temperature in Southern Shan State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Heho and Hakha, (5°C) each in Thipaw and Namsam, (6°C) each in Loilin and Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.51)inch, Dawei (0.35)inch, Myawaddy (0.32)inch, Kawkareik (0.16)inch, Machanbaw (0.12)inch and Launglon (0.08)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th FEBRUARY, 2018: Rain will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, Kachin, Kayin and Mon States, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Degree of certainly is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (2 - 5) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
