SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.8°C in Hakha, 4.6°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C in Mongyang, 6.7°C in Heho, 7.3°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.6°C in Pinlaung, 7.8°C in Putao, 8.3°C in Tiddim, 8.5°C in Loilin and 10.3°C in Minesat. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.28 inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sean and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd February 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States.
