SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Eastern Shan State, scattered in Kayin State and isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin, Rakhine and Mon States, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (7°C) to (8°C) above December average temperatures in (Eastern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Mon State, (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Northern Shan, Chin and Kayin States, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State, about December average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Pinlaung and (6°C) in Putao. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Paletwa (0.94)inch, Kyainseikkyi (0.62)inch, Taunggyi, Namsam and Maungdaw (0.40)inch each, Kengtung and Mongyang (0.36)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
