BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 15th December 2024: Rain will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah states and likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at time in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Sea will be slight to moderate in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
