BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (15:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved North-Northwestwards. It is centered at about 670 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 185 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai and 170 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November 2024: Rain will be widespread in Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah States.
