SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine State, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 7.6°C in Hakha, 10.0°C in Tiddim and 12.6°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.08 inch in Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Special Features: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical Storm“(YINXING)” over the South China Sea is likely forecast continue to move Southwestwards and may reach Central coast of Vietnam during next 24 hours and gradually downgraded.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
