27-11-2024: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 745 Nautical miles Southwest of CoCo Island (Myanmar), 355 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 7th November 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Shan State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States.
