SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and State with isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.83 inches in Dedaye, 2.71 inches in Kalewa, 2.64 inches in Kalay, 2.60 inches each in Mawlaik and Gangaw, 2.55 inches in Mingin, 2.25 inches in Putao, 2.08 inches in Nyaung Shwe, 1.85 inches in Yangon(Manyangone), 1.73 inches in Tiddim and 1.69 inches each in Falam and Kungyangon.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27^th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
