BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30)hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off north Andhra Pradesh- south Odisha coast, India) still persists.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Region and Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Tanithari Regions and Chin, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
