BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (17:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the interior of West Bengal (India) has slowly moved West-Northwestwards and still persists. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 16th September 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate to strong monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
