25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

Issued at (14:00) hours M.S.T on 7-9-2024

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Central Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Bay of Bengal has moved nearly Northwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move Nearly Northwards and may further intensify into a Depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Odisha- Gangetic West Bengal Coast, India) on 8-9-2024.
