25-11-2024:According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Depression over South Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is centered at about 750 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar) and 540 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and has further intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay(off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha, India). It is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha Coasts during next 48 hours.
