BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
