BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 14th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Magway Region and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 40 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhin, Kayin, Mon States.
