BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 9th July 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions, fairly widespread in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine , Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States.
