BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and strong over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 30th June 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Regions and (southern and Easthern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 35-40 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States.
