SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Chin and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Magway Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 3.74 inches in Kyaukpyu, 3.19 inches in Monyin, 2.28 inches in Manaung, 2.05 inches in Bhamo, 1.89 inches each in Thandwe and Shan-Ywar-thit, 1.77 inches in Okkan and 1.50 inches each in Myitkyina, Saw, Taunggu(Aviation-Met), Kyonpyaw and Bogale.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16thJune 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw and Eastern Shan, Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
