A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.5) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (14)miles southeast of Mawlaik), latitude 23.46°N, longitude 94.53°E, depth (93) kilometers, about (55)miles south-southeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (19)hr (43)min (27)sec M.S.T on 29th  May, 2024.
