BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Northwest Bay and monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Eastern Shan, Kayah States,fairly widespread in Lower Saging, Taninthayi Regions and (Noethern and Southern)Shan and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State . Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Ayeyarwady ,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
