BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 19th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Chin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Mon States, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
