BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 15th May 2024: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine State.
THE CONDITION OFCUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Kachin State.
