SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin and Mon States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Rakhine and Kayin States, scattered in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, widespread in Bago Region, (Eastern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Ann (1.50)inches, Shwekyin (1.29)inches, Hainggyigyun (1.18)inches, Myaungmya (1.02)inches, Namsam (0.98)inch, Loikaw (0.95)inch and Tharyarwady and Pathein (0.90)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th OCTOBER, 2017: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States, rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, (Eastern and Southern) Shan and Kayah States.
