SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C to 4°C above April average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan State, 2°C above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Chin, Kayah States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 45°C in Chauk, 44°C each in Nyaung Oo and Minbu and 43°C each in Sagaing, Myingyan, Tada U(Aviation-Met), Magway and Taungdwingyi. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Putao.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th APRIL 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
