28-11-2024: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 725 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 255 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (36) miles east-southeast of Myitkyina, Kachin State, (Myanmar-China Border Region)) about (252) miles northeast of Mandalay seismological observatory was recorded at (01) hrs (04) min (14) sec M.S.T on 13^th October, 2017.
