BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th February 2024: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Southern Shan, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Kachin, Shan States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 12th February 2024:            Generally fair weather.
