BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th December 2023: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Kachin State, isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and (4-6) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrerase of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
