BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 10th June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw and (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region, Northern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 -10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 -6)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
