26-7-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoing West Bengal Coasts –still persists. It is likely to become more marked during next 2 days. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the South Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

34th National Monsoon Forum
The opening ceremony of 34th National Monsoon Forum 2026 was held in Multi-Hazard Early Warning Center, Nay Pyi Taw organized by Department of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH), Ministry of Transport on 7th May 2026. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Kyaw Moe Oo, Director General of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology delivered the opening remarks.
၁။ အဂတိလိုက်စားမှုတိုက်ဖျက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ အသိပညာပေး ပိုစတာ၊ ပန်းချီနှင့် ဗီဒီယိုပြိုင်ပွဲကို “အဂတိလိုက်စားမှုများတိုက်ဖျက်ဖို့ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ကြပါစို့” ခေါင်းစဉ်ဖြင့် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သွား မည်ဖြစ်ရာ လူငယ်လူရွယ်များ ဝင်ရောက်ယှဉ်ပြိုင်နိုင်ပါကြောင်း ဖိတ်ခေါ်အပ်ပါသည်။
